Molly Mangan’s is a new Irish bar on Newland Avenue in Hull, bringing together live music, live sport, great drinks and private karaoke rooms under one roof. It is designed as a late night pub rather than a nightclub, somewhere to sit, laugh, listen to music and enjoy proper Guinness, Irish whiskeys and plenty of craic.

Live music sits at the heart of Molly Mangan’s, with a mix of Irish trad and folk, modern acoustic sets, singalong classics and special seasonal performances. Local artists are a big part of the line up, alongside guest performers from across the country, so people come here for the music rather than just happening across it.

From January 2026, Molly Mangan’s will host live performances four nights a week, with bands, singers and sessions built into the regular calendar. In December 2025, following opening night, there will be music every night, including Irish acts, acoustic performers, choirs and special festive shows. Weekend live music will run late, with performances until 1am.

Live sport at Molly Mangan’s includes football, rugby, Formula One, boxing, darts, GAA and hurling. Selected matches are shown with full commentary, while others are screened with the sound muted alongside the music, so you can still enjoy the atmosphere of the bar.

Molly Mangan’s is a late night pub where you can settle in and stay for the whole evening. Weekend live music runs until 1am, and on Fridays and Saturdays the bar serves until 3am. For day to day opening times and any changes for special events, please check our website or social media.

Guinness is at the centre of the bar, poured properly with attention to the settle and finish for a creamy head and smooth taste. Alongside it you will find a carefully chosen range of Irish whiskeys and other drinks you would not usually find in the area, plus signature Irish coffees with closely guarded house touches.
